Foldawheel Eco — Lightweight Folding Power Wheelchair

The Foldawheel Eco is a lightweight folding power wheelchair built around one idea: give you everything that matters most — lightweight, compact folding, a dependable battery, and long travel range — without the high price tag. Most power wheelchair users want all of these at once and assume they have to compromise on at least one. The Eco is our minimalist answer. It’s built on a strong oval-shaped aluminium alloy frame and driven by energy-saving brushless motors with electromagnetic brakes, so it stays light and efficient without feeling flimsy.

Lightweight, foldable, and travel-ready
At just 21.5kg with one battery, the Eco folds down to a compact size that fits in a car boot or comes along on a flight. The joystick controller detaches easily for safekeeping while travelling, and an optional padded travel bag is available to protect it on the move.

One battery as standard — add a second only if you need it
Every Foldawheel Eco comes with one battery pack as standard, giving you up to 18km of travel — enough for most daily trips, shopping, and outings. If you regularly travel further, you can add an optional second battery to double your range to 36km. Because each battery weighs only 1.8kg and clips out without any tools, it’s easy to judge what’s right for you: one battery keeps the chair lightest to lift, while carrying a spare adds just 1.8kg and doubles how far you can go. You can buy the second battery now or later, whenever your needs change.

Comfort and adjustable fit
The Eco has a seat height of 51.5cm — noticeably higher than most portable power wheelchairs on the market, which makes sitting down and standing up easier. Raiseable armrests let you get closer to tables, seat and backrest tightness adjust via straps, and the footrests are detachable, length-adjustable, and foldable. Choose from 14″, 16,” or 18″ seat widths for a fit matched to your body size.

Built for easy, safe everyday use
The 12″ solid rear tyres and 8″ solid front tyres need no maintenance and won’t go flat. A precise control system makes the Eco easy to steer and hold steady — especially across slanted pathways and gentle slopes — so you stay in confident control on uneven ground.
